What is a credit quota and how to spend it

Before we start, here’s a quick glossary of terms you should know about before reading this article.

Ā Term Ā Definition
Prospect A lead profile with pre-verified email and other data. Prospects you save will contain pre-verified emails, name, industry, job position, location, social links;
Domain-based emails Unverified employee or department emails associated with a company.

Saved emails will be unverified and will not contain any additional prospect data.

Pre-verified Verification is included for free.

What is a credit quota

Credit quota refers to the number of credits allocated to your account balance with your plan. You can spend credits by using Snov.io’s tools and features.

Note: Credits are valid for 30 days from the purchase date of a plan.

Unused credits do not roll over to the next month – ensure to use your quota before the end of your current billing period.

 

To get more credits than your current quota allows, purchase the same plan again or upgrade to a plan with more credits.

How to spend your credits

Below we’ll review how many credits you will be charged for using specific tools and features in Snov.io.

You can check your credit spending history in your account settings on the Transactions page.

1) Email Finder

Our prospecting extensions help you find leads anywhere online: on company websites or social network profiles.

A set of web app tools lets you get emails and prospects based on the input data you provide: prospect names, company domains, or social links.

Note: In all Email Finder tools, you will not be charged for invalid prospects and emails (marked as red), duplicates, or searches with no results.

Email Finder (Chrome extension)

Collect emails from company websites, Google search results pages, Twitter and Yelp. Activating Email Finder on a company website costs 1 credit per website.

After this, you can save domain emails from the All domain emails tab for free.

Each prospect saved from the Prospects tab costs 1 credit.

Saving companies from Google search to your list is free.

Viewing a saved company profile costs 1 creditĀ per company.

When you save prospects and emails from a company profile, you will be charged according to Domain Search. See the Domain Search tool section below in this table for more details.

Email Search

Bulk Email Search

*available on Starter and Pro plans

Upload a list of prospect names with company domains to find emails in bulk. Each prospect saved costs 1 credit, except for prospects with invalid emails, duplicates, and searches with no results. Read how to find prospects from a list of names and domains ā‡’
Domain Search

*available on all plans

Find prospects and domain-based emails on a specific company domain. Each domain search costs 1 creditĀ and gives access to a company profile page.

In the Prospects tab, each prospect you add to your list costs 1 credit.

In the All Domain Emails tab, you can find unverified domain-based emails (50 emails/page).

Opening each next page costs 1 credit/per page.

Saving unverified domain-based emails is free.

Snov.io keeps your search history for 30 days. If you repeat the same search within a 30-days period, it will be free. After this, you will be charged 1 creditĀ again.

Bulk Domain Search

Find prospects and domain-based emails in bulk from a list of company domains. For the Prospects search option: each saved prospect costs 1 credit.

For theĀ Emails onlyĀ search option: each domain you search costs 2 credits. You can save up to 100 domain-based emails from each domain.

*You will not be charged for invalid prospects and emails (marked as red), duplicates, or searches with no results.

Find prospects from a list of links to their social profiles. Each prospect saved costs 1 credit.

Find prospects and companies based on your search criteria using a variety of filters: industry, location, company size. Searching for prospects is free. Each prospect saved costs 1 credit.

Searching for companies and saving companies to your list isĀ free.

Opening a company profile costsĀ 1 credit.

If you proceed to save prospects or emails on the company profile page, you will be charged according to Domain Search tariffs.

You will not be charged for prospects with invalid emails (marked as red), duplicates, or those with no email found (Canā€™t find email).
